Golder’s dynamic corporate legal team is committed to providing world class legal services to our managers and consultants practicing in the field of engineering, environmental and construction services. Golder is currently looking for 1 Senior Legal Counsel who is committed to serving our business, each for a one year contract position. As a key member of the legal team based in Calgary or Vancouver, you have 6 to 12 years of experience and will provide legal support related to corporate matters to support the organization, such as employment law, health & safety, corporate governance, acquisitions, tax and risk management.

* Work closely with all business units and provide a strategic blend of business and legal advice;
* Practice in a broad range of areas, including providing legal support related to as employment law, health & safety, corporate governance, acquisitions, tax and risk management; and
* Advise on internal and external communications.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
* 6 to 12 years of experience in corporate law;
* Law degree from a recognized institution and membership in good standing with a provincial bar;
* In-House experience working with an international organization;
* An enthusiastic team player who will work well with others in a fast-paced environment; and
* Have the ability to provide sound business and legal advice to all levels of the company.
