Job Responsibilities:
We plan to appoint several Principal Hydrogeologists to join our well-established groundwater team in Western Australia. The role particularly focuses on practical approaches to mining in WA but would provide opportunities for interstate and overseas work.

The successful candidates will require a track record in providing practical solutions to mine water issues, preferably in both underground and open pit mines, and including inflow control, dewatering and slope depressurisation.

Numerical modelling skills are not required although they would be helpful. However, it is essential to have both a good understanding of conceptual model development and demonstrated ability in how to think about mine groundwater.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidates will also have:
- strong/competent geological skills
- a desire for business development
- a passion for the training and mentoring of junior staff
- excellent communication and report writing skills. The appointment would provide the opportunity to work in a supportive local team that is linked well with Golder’s regional and global groundwater communities.
