Job Responsibilities:
We have upcoming opportunities for mid-level Geotechnical Engineers/Engineering Geologists to join our Perth Geotechnical team on a casual basis. This will suit individuals who enjoy both office and fieldwork, and is flexible with travelling to regional sites. Working with our leading industry experts, you will be involved in a variety of technically challenging projects.

You will be responsible for:
* Carrying out assignments/ projects under the general direction of senior engineers;
* Assisting with project planning and deliverables of technical complexity;
* Coordinating and conducting geotechnical investigations including completion of field investigations;
* Preparing geotechnical reports, proposals and other deliverables;
* Interpreting geotechnical data, performing analysis and drawing recommendations;
* Conducting high quality geotechnical characterisation of materials;
* Maintaining client contact and customer liaison;
* Participating in selecting methodology and in preparing cost estimations for proposals; and
* Supervising work of technicians and junior professional staff on site and in the office.

Job Requirements:
To be successful, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or equivalent as a minimum with several years’ experience in Geotechnical engineering. It is expected that you will have strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for fieldwork. Previous consulting experience will be favourable.
