Job Responsibilities:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Scientist to join our risk assessment and toxicological services team. Working within this dynamic team, you will be involved in a range of human health and ecological risk assessment, toxicology and contaminated land projects and have access to leading industry experts to mentor and guide you in your professional development.

Your Responsibilities Include:
* Undertaking scientific research in the area of toxicology and human health risk assessments from environmental exposures to contamination from air, soil and groundwater;
* Undertaking interpretation of field, laboratory and toxicological data;
* Liaising with specialists from other disciplines of offices within Golder Associates;
* Delivering on overall management of tasks including planning, scheduling, resourcing, reporting and cost/scope tracking to ensure deliverables are provided on time and within budgets; and
* Preparation of various deliverables including proposals, tenders, and high quality reports.

Job Requirements:
You will be qualified with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Biological Sciences or equivalent. Knowledge of applicable Australian guidelines and standards for risk assessment, toxicology assessment and contaminated sites in Australia is required. It is expected that you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse group of people. Previous consulting experience will be highly regarded.
