Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking an Environmental Remediation Engineer/Scientist for the Mt. Laurel, New Jersey location. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Support environmental remediation projects through all aspects of data collection, management, and interpretation, with an emphasis on remedial alternative evaluations and remedial approach/system design (both in situ and ex situ)
* Conduct fate and transport modeling of contaminants in a variety of environmental media
* Assist with the preparation of technical documents including, but not limited to, work plans, reports, proposals, calculations, permit applications, and cost estimates
* Conduct environmental sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and air/gas
* Implement components of environmental remedies in the field with guidance from the project team. This work may include use of a variety of remedial alternatives/technologies (e.g., enhanced bioremediation, chemical oxidation, thermal treatment) and operation and maintenance of remedial systems (e.g., pump and treat, air sparge and soil vapor extraction)

Job Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Chemistry, or Environmental Engineering is required; A Master's degree is preferred.
* A minimum of 1 year of relevant environmental consulting experience is preferred;
* Proficiency with numerical modeling for contaminant fate and transport (e.g. PHREEQC, BIOCHLOR, Geochemist's Workbench, REMchlor, 1D and 2D analytical models) preferred;
* Proficiency with managing, manipulating, and interpreting large datasets preferred;
* Competence in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint at minimum);
* Technical proficiency in the fields of environmental engineering, geochemistry, and/or environmental science;
* Strong technical writing capabilities and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences;
* Engaging interpersonal skills combined with a positive, team-oriented attitude;
* Focused organization and time management abilities with a strong work ethic;
* Willing to travel as dictated by project demands;
* Pass a pre-employment physical including a drug screening and background check;
