Job Responsibilities:
Golder Associates is seeking a Technology Training Specialist to join our Business Information Services team.

This position can be based in Canada out of either the Burnaby or Mississauga Office or in the Santiago, Chile Office. Please note that applicants from Chile will be expected to be fluent in English and Spanish.

Reporting to Business Information Services and as part of the global User Experience team, the Technology Training Specialist is responsible for providing training services for our corporate systems. The position involves educating users on how to leverage our technology in an integrated way to make their daily work activities easier.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Actively participate in and contribute to the Integrated Systems Team, which works to increase awareness and usage of our corporate applications;
* Participate in the delivery of needs analysis to evaluate training needs and gaps prior to planning and delivery;
* Plan, develop and deliver a range of highly effective training, which is task and workflow orientated for our consulting and corporate services staff;
* Select and employ appropriate blended learning strategies such as e-learning, classroom (live or virtual), workshops, job aids, simulations, and webinars;
* Facilitate user engagement through advanced user groups, using peer to peer learning as an important channel through which our staff can adopt technology;
* Help to disseminate knowledge and skills through Help Desk and user-facing BIS Teams;
* Develop close working relationships with key consulting project staff and leverage these links to improve the effectiveness of our corporate applications; and,
* Connect people and groups with the right resources to achieve their goals.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technology, design or training related discipline;
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in training or support in Information Technology including Microsoft SharePoint and Dynamics;
* Knowledge of adult learning principles, facilitation, and learner-centered design methodologies;
* Knowledge of training design tools an advantage;
* Superior oral, written and organizational skills;
* Fluent English and Spanish a distinct advantage;
* Ability to travel to both domestic and international locations as needed.
