Job Responsibilities:

Golder Associates is seeking a Senior level Air Quality Engineer/Scientist to join its dynamic Environmental Sciences Division based in Mississauga. As a key member of the Atmospheric Services team, you will develop your skills by working closely with management and all business units.

The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of responsibilities:
- Maintaining and further developing air quality services in the Greater Toronto Area;
- Providing vision and direction as a member of the Atmospheric Group's senior leadership team;
- Devising and implementing business and marketing strategies;
- Coordinating with other Golder offices offering air quality services;
- Developing and maintaining client relationships;
- Executing technical work in areas of expertise;
- Provide input and senior review on technical reports, proposals and communications;
- Participate in client meetings as well as regulatory meetings and hearings; and,
- Supervise, train and mentor junior and intermediate staff.


Job Requirements:
Successful candidates will possess the following:
- Ph.D. or Masters in engineering, meteorology, chemistry or physics;
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the environmental industry;
- Proven success developing and maintaining client relations;
- Ability to thrive in an atmosphere that requires cooperation and team work to provide quality, solution-oriented consulting services;
- Proven leadership and team building skills and experience;
- Strong understanding of federal and provincial laws and regulations pertaining to air quality issues;
- Strong technical writing skills;
- Exceptional communication skill; and,
- Areas of expertise should include but are not limited to the development of air emission inventories, dispersion modelling, air pollution control technologies, regulatory compliance and permitting, environmental impact assessments and ambient monitoring programs.
