Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to join our Design team. This is a full-time position based in our Melbourne office. You will be involved in a variety of technically challenging projects and have access to leading industry experts to mentor and guide you. This role will suit an individual with several years’ experience working on civil / geotechnical engineering design projects which encompassed preparation of detailed design documentation and drawings as well as fieldwork or construction supervision experience. Previous experience in earthworks construction and liner deployment will be highly regarded.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Developing designs for facilities e.g. landfills and other earth structures;
* Undertaking design assessments, including stability and seepage analyses;
* Preparation of technical deliverables such as proposals and reports;
* Managing the specification and implementing design changes while on site; and
* Working with and providing support to other members of the group as required.

Job Requirements

To be successful, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent. It is expected that you will have strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for design work both in the office and on site. You will also have:
* 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience.
* Exposure to earthworks or landfill design and construction will be favourable.
* Previous consulting experience will be favourable.
