Job Responsibilities:
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Environmental Regulatory Support Specialist to join our Mining Project Delivery Group in the Global Mining Business. Responsibilities include:
* Involvement in activities that contribute to the management and delivery of environmental projects. Projects will vary in scale and will include Environmental Impact Assessments as well as other projects in support of the development, operation and closure of mining projects.
* Participation in a team environment, working closely with Project Managers, Project Directors and discipline teams
* Work with and provide support to other members of the Mining Group in sharing project management, project completion and client service responsibilities
* Completing environmental regulatory documents, such as applications, environmental assessment documents, and/or water licence documents.
* Client and team communication.

Responsibilities could include Project Coordination tasks including but not limited to documentation and record keeping, meeting minutes, scheduling of meetings, tracking project financials, weekly and monthly progress reporting, supporting field logistics and check-ins. Responsibilities could also include regulatory support tasks such as document preparation, editing, regulatory research and tem coordination.

Job Requirements:
The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
* University degree in environmental science, biology, environmental engineering or a similar field
* Strong interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
* Strong problem solving skills
* Experience working in Excel with high attention to detail
* Experience in literature based research and writing
* Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project and Powerpoint
* Experience related to environmental regulations and/or project management an asset.
