Job Responsibilities

Golder Associates is currently seeking a Digital Developer & Stategist to join our Global Communications team. Reporting to the Global Director of Digital Marketing, the Digital Strategist & Developer will work in the digital marketing team within Global Communications to support the technology used to manage and publish market leading content. The location of this position is flexible and can sit in any of Golder Associates' larger US locations.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work hands-on in the technical development of Golder’s SharePoint based intranet and will also support external channels (golder.com and microsites; marketing/email campaigns and more). This includes leading a global community of content administrators responsible for the maintenance and content creation for their respective sites. You will also work with Golder’s BIS team to design, develop and build user-friendly but flexible platforms to store content and deliver it intuitively to our business services staff in a timely and effective way.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Connect the dots between the wants, needs and desires of our targets with business, brand, and marketing goals.
* Continuously experiment with new strategies and tactics to increase the efficiency and scalability of existing digital marketing and communications efforts
* Develop, monitor and communicate analytical frameworks to capture the value and performance of digital marketing campaigns
* Collaborate with internal teams to implement marketing analytics and attribution tools to makes sure we have high quality data for validating return on spend
* Collaborate with Marketing teams to support lead generation and prospect conversion
* Oversee the intranet sites structure and content, including home page.
* Responsible for the information architecture and content quality in GoldNet, ensure a consistent user experience
* Responsible for overseeing the intranet’s content governance and branding guidelines.
* Identify opportunities to bring additional content and communication into Golder’s digital channels.
* Provide on-going training to content administrators and end users as needed
* Monitor and report on site usage and content administrator assignments
* Provide support to content editors ensuring they have the knowledge, tools and skillsets required for their roles.
* Expand use of social and collaboration tools for the intranet communities.
* Other duties as required

Job Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience (3-5 years) is required.
* Experience as SharePoint power user, strong understanding of the capabilities of SharePoint (O365, 2016, 2013, 2010) is required.
* Proficiency in the use of full suite of SharePoint tools to create solutions to business needs is preferred.
* HTML and various CMS software and knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques to implement solutions that can be deployed on web pages is required.
* Strong knowledge best UX principles and Information Architecture design for websites
* Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
* Photoshop and multi-media creative software
* Significant experience managing and implementing intranets in a professional services environment
* High level of comfort with social software and other web-based technologies
* Strong project management skills and time management skills are required.

* Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create effective messaging and tell compelling stories about our products and business to any audience whether it’s our consumers, internal team, or industry at large
