Golder Associates is currently seeking for an HCM Business Systems Analyst to join our Global Application Services team for a one year assignment. In this role, you will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to guide and assist stakeholders on issues related to the design and implementation of business processes critical to our operations while making good technology decisions. The duties of the HCM Business Systems Analyst may include:
* Elicit business requirements using a variety of methods including interviews, business process descriptions, use cases, task and workflow analysis.
* Work with project stakeholders to define business processes and requirements and translate business requirements to technical/functional requirements and specifications.
* Contribute to defining project scope, goals, success criteria, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with project sponsor and stakeholders.
* Work directly with vendors, development partners, and/or internal development and architecture teams to establish technical vision that ensures the project goals are achieved.
* Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other project stakeholders.
* Liaise with and build strong relationships with business stakeholders, system users, systems and support teams and third party vendors, and, provide guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members.
* Develop and deliver project plans, progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations.
* Engage users in change management or training activities as required.
* Research new and improved systems solutions, assisting with continuous improvement, develop documentation, support testing and regional implementation tasks for both system updates and projects, and collaborate with diverse teams to facilitate the troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
* Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for our internal clients.

Job Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess the following education, skills and other key attributes, as well as be able to join the Golder team immediately upon hire:
* University degree in Computing Systems or Systems Design is required.
* IIBA Business Analyst Certification preferred.
* 5+ years’ experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process and data mapping.
* Direct experience with the implementation of a global enterprise class Human Capital Management system. Experience with Oracle Cloud strongly preferred.
* Knowledge of technologies for the financial / project accounting / professional services field(s) / CRM / HR systems in a professional services organization
* Project Management experience would be a plus, as well as process design and documentation experience
* Experience with applications developed for the Microsoft SharePoint platform
* Experience in financial reporting systems and tools.
* Exposure to project-based work structures
* Working knowledge of network and Microsoft platforms including MS Windows, MSOffice, SharePoint
* Able to work global hours and travel internationally
* Must be flexible and willing to work to task completion beyond normal business hours, if necessary
