The Birmarck office of Golder Associates Inc. is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a Air Quality Scientist/Engineer position with a focus on the oil and gas sector.
Candidate will be expected to have a fundamental knowledge of industrial processes and strong skills in mathematics, data manipulation and writing. Candidate must also be capable of effectively representing themselves in a professional setting and possess good communication skills. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to interact with peers to seek-out solutions to complex project problems.
The position requires a minimum bachelors of science degree in engineering or atmospheric science and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in performing air permitting and air quality engineering. Candidate should also demonstrate knowledge of US EPA air quality regulations including New Source Review (NSR) and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), Title V and minor source air permitting, and Greenhouse Gas Mandatory Reporting Rules (GHG-MRR).
Experience in oil and gas is preferred.
